Looking for a fish in a tropical storm

We were told to get ready for Hurricane Henri as it made it's way up the coast to hit Connecticut.
As it got closer, we were pleased to learn that our preparations were more of a practice run. The storm was downgraded to a tropical storm. We got a mega amount of rain and some winds.

I took advantage of the situation to spoof the weathermen who stand in the middle of a storm and do a little promo for my book, "A Fish in a Tree".

Autum in Connecticut 2019

In case you don't know, I LOVE Autumn in New England. Not all are banner years, but this one is. When other people make sure to stop and smell the roses, I make sure to stop and smell the leaves and just inhale the gorgeous scenery around me. I have been taking some pictures as we go along, but today I just went out to take pictures, a "me autumn morning". They say heavy rains and winds are coming tonight which means the days are numbered for seeing the beautiful leaves. May these memories sustain me until autumn and I meet again.

I call these the Sister Trees and I enjoy watching them change every year.
