Miscellaneous Norfolk pictures

George wanted me to take a picture of this garage. It is on the property that he grew up on. The zoning laws say if it is torn down that the owners cannot rebuild. I believe they can restore this, but looks like they better do it fast. George thinks his mother moved out in 1977 and he said he thought it was going to fall down then. It just keeps standing. It's amazing especially when you think of all the snow that Norfolk gets.

This is the house that George grew up in but it has been vastly improved by the latest owners. Someday we'll have to find a before picture to put beside it.

When we drove by this fisherman, we saw him accidentally catch his line on the telephone wire above. It struck us funny. I'm sure it wasn't so funny for him.

Norfolk, CT

These pictures were taken in the center of Norfolk. We sat on the park benches and had a picnic lunch that we had brought. George grew up in Norfolk and has always loved his hometown.

Dennis Hill, Norfolk, CT

We were able to drive up the road (sometimes it is gated) to Dennis Hill, Norfolk, CT. The views were just gorgeous! This is the reward of a fantastic view without having to work for it with a big hike.
