State Parks November 2019 weekend

George has another fantasy of seeing all the state parks in Connecticut, so while we were down by the shore, we added a three more to his list of having seen. My previous post shows Bluff Points State Park. We also went to Rocky Neck State Park, which we had been to before, but worth a return on the ocean.

 Sand in toes therapy.

 An egret.

Haley Farm State Park was interesting with a large variety of stone walls.

On our way home we stopped at Gardner Lake State Park, Salem, CT. Small, but pretty. And we had a hard time finding it both old school way and new!

Our last state park for this weekend was Day Pond State Park in Colchester.

George was intrigued about the way these picnic tables were made.
