Things I have learned from Lifetime and Hallmark Movies

1) Even if you have never played baseball in your life, have a baseball bat handy in your house.

2) If you have successfully hit the bad guy with the bat and stabbed him with a knife and he's laying on the ground, he is not dead. You will turn your back to him and be fighting with him again.

3) Don't be a best friend to someone with drama in their life. The main character lives, friends die.

4) Just know that it's a fact if you are running away from a bad guy, you will fall.

5) All nannies are evil They usually have stolen identities. Most of them want to kill the mother and fill her place in the home. She will try to seduce the husband and most likely poison the wife.

6) If your husband is called on long business trips often, he probably has another family in another state.

7) If you figure out where your kidnapped friend/child is being held, you will not alert the police or anyone where you are going.

8) If you have a great job in a big city and have to spend some time in a small country town, you will give up your job and move to the small town.

9) If you are engaged to be married and go to a small town on assignment or to see family, you will find someone better in that small town (possibly a previous acquaintance). Your new love will catch you with your fiancé and think you are still in love when you are really breaking up with them. The new love will believe they don't have a chance and they will disappear for a while. You will have to hunt them down and explain.

10)  If you have a big city job, you may be called to go to a small town to cause chaos by shutting a greatly loved business in town. You will go on this mission secretly and get to know the townspeople. You will have a change of heart and convince your bosses not to disrupt things--but not before the people find out why you were sent there and give you the cold shoulder. Don't worry, in the end you are a hero.
