Collinsville Halloween Parade

These are pictures from last year's Collinsville Halloween Parade. I could not believe that this has been going on for years so close by and we never knew about it. It seems like the adults have as much fun as the kids. Boo-solini leads the parade. A pipe organ plays and everyone in the crowd parades down the street in costume or not. There were a couple of dance performances. Boo-solini shot mini ghosts out of a cannon. Prizes were given to the best costumes in various categories. The crowd was polite, no rowdiness and just a fun night. We enjoyed the creativity of the costumes and the presentation. Good job, Collinsville! This year the parade will be on October 29th at 7pm. If you plan on going, get there earlier to get a good parking spot.
